56Ft Semi stern Narrowboat 56Ft Semi stern Narrowboat, built in 2005 by New Boat Company as a sailaway, the original owner started to panel out but lost interest, we bought the boat in 2007 and nothing had changed since it first sailed away. We have made it into a reverse layout. From the back of the boat you have two side lockers/seats, throttle unit and power switches, hatch cover and electric hookup point, the floor covers the engine bay which holds an isuzu 35hp engine and three domestic batteries, the boat has done approximately 400 hrs sailing time. Double doors lead down some stairs with storage drawers inside, past the webasco diesel central heating controller with 7 day timer and cd radio, waeco 12v management system panneland waeco perfect battery charger at the bottom of the stairs immediately to the left is the airing cupboard with hot water tank and shelves the cupboard on the right has all the electronic panels, 2 no 8 gang circuit breaker pannels, storage space and socket for 12v phone charger. Light switch. You are now in the kitchen on the right there is a free standing gas cooker, with compartement for dinner trays alongside, as well as a 3 drawer unit which holds saucepans, crockery and cutlery respectively, on the left a 12v fridge followed by a double sink unit with stainless steel sink and drainer with double cupboard under, along side this is another pull out unit which also has four drawers, which has been used for storage, further on from this is a single cupboard for storage. All cupboards have maple fronts with stainless steel knobs, black flecked worktop, porthole windows and stainless steel wall pannels either side with hanging rails for mugs and utensils, stainless steel wine rack. Fire extinguisher and fire blanket, first aid kit Moving on from the kitchen you enter the lounge area which has double sofa bed blue and stainless steel,radiator with cover, the walls and ceiling have painted MDF panels which are very light and airy, opposite sofa is a purpose made tv/dvd unit with 12v tv/dvd player and aerial with signal booster, wine glass halogen wall lamp, and 24v socket and 12v small inverter. Squirrel wood burning stove with supalux fire resistant pannels surrounding and solid concrete base. Painted cottage style MDF shelf unit and wood store, escape hatch and light switch, throughout kitchen and lounge are flush fitting LED lights and grills covering mushroom vents, bamboo wood flooring. Door leading to red/white pannelled 'S' shaped bathroom consisting of full sized shower cubicle, cold water sink and full sized pump out toilet with display pannel, purpose built storage unit with mirror and light with independant switch, floor tiled with italian tiles, windows covered with privacy film. Hidden storage under sink. Low level towel rail radiator. Carbonmonoxide alarm/ smoke alarm. Folding door leading to 'Cherry' pannelled bedroom with permanent full double bed, with storage underneath and tank for pump out toilet, light switch, book shelf with independant reading light, LED flush lights in MDF pannelled ceiling painted white, mushroom vent, radiator with cover, red curtains with rods, covering large windows, full hanging single wardrobe with shelf above, cherry door, fire extinguisher, steps with storage leading to front of boat through glazed double doors with white roller blind above, 2 'Cherry' cupboards with ample shelf storage, wooden flooring, outside front has two storage lockers/seats and fully sealed lined water tank, with hatch to gas storage locker two gas bottles. Headlight and horn. Bobbie went into dry dock last summer and had 2 new annodes fitted and full blacking of hull done and new blue upper coat with cream roof and names put on as well as reg number, a new safety certificate has just been completed. Various mooring ropes/windlasses and mooring pins, rescue ladder, magnet. All items mentioned as well as mugs, saucepans etc are included in the price. We have had a great time getting 'Bobbie' to completion and hope he will make someone very happy.
